Mother's Day Cards

Hello!

I made two cards for Mother's Day this year, one for my wonderful mother and one for my boyfriends mother (My boyfriend tells me "I know you really like using your Cricut could you make me a card for my mom?"  Isn't he cute?  He not only lets me go crazy with the crafting but he is encouraging it as well :))

The first card is for my mom I used Lettering Delights Balloon Craze to make the hot air balloon and I used some of the clouds from the same set to make the background.  Enjoy!

The next card I made for my boyfriends mom.  Her birthday is right around this time too so he wanted me to make a card that would work for both Mother's Day and her birthday.  I used chipboard to make the flower pot and I used the 3D flowers set from SVG Cuts.

The front of the card was so bulky it made the inside look really flimsy by comparision so I put a layer of red cardstock and then a layer of white to write on to add some stability.  I also added some embossing using my score board hopefully you can see the detail in these pictures.  the inside line is embossed so the texture is raised and the outside line is embossed to be sunken in it looks so wonderful in person you will just have to take my word for it :)

Thanks for stopping by!
